The Needs

• Terra Resort Group is a luxury hotel management company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming that currently manages three hotel and resort properties including the upscale Teton Mountain Lodge. Hotel Terra is the first in a collection of green hotels for the company.  Hotel Terra presents a distinctly contemporary, intimate, luxury boutique hotel that is grounded in Terra Resort Group's commitment to an extraordinary guest experience, combined with care and preservation of the natural environment.                            
• The Area Spa Director would initially oversee two of the company’s brand new spas. The role would expand to take on more responsibility as the Terra Resort Group has plans to develop more Terra Hotels

• Client was looking to increase and maximize revenue in both spa operations. Both spas were underperforming relative to a busy upscale resort environment. Sought candidates who possessed a strong background in luxury spa operations, and well as ample business acumen.  
• Built a list of 75-100 potential candidates including director and assistant director level spa managers. Recruited from 4 & 5 Diamond hotel and resort properties as well as luxury destination spas. 
• During the initial two weeks, culled down the list to 15 potential candidates that fit the job profile
• Conducted initial phone screens of the top 15 candidates to determine interest level, and further review of experience and qualifications
• Of the 15 candidates, we felt that 5 of the candidates fit the profile  
• The VP of Operations and 2 hotel General managers phone interviewed all 5 candidates
• Following the phone interviews, the client selected top 2 candidates                   
• The Client subsequently flew in the top candidates for final interviews                                                      

• The Candidate offered and accepted the position 30 days from the presentation of the first resumes
